Here’s another cool place - BestPriceToys.com - to do your online Christmas shopping for your children, or nephews and nieces.

If you have a bunch of active kids who like to spend time outdoor, and IF there is enough space for a playground within your house compound, do you think one of these swing sets will make the children go nuts? :D

Space Saver Swing Set

Congo Outing

Swing sets are expensive. But this HUGE Christmas gift can be shared among a few children. ;) And it will be considered as next year’s Christmas gift too. Ha!

The other toys that I find cool at this online toy-shop are the dollhouses.

I would like to have this for myself! :P

Have you done your Christmas shopping?

I’m not a Christian, so I don’t really need to shop for Christmas presents to give away. But I do like to go to the shopping malls to look at the Christmas decorations and listen to Christmas songs playing in the air.

I tell you, the shopping malls are so crowded these days. Not only because of Christmas, it’s school holiday, too. If I were have to shop amongst the crowd and pay at long queues, I would have fainted. Sometimes shopping during festive seasons can be really chaotic. :P (Ya, think of the approaching CNY.)

Of course, things don’t have to be that way. For shoppers who don’t like to get into crowded malls, you can always shop online! Just choose your Christmas gifts from the comfort of your home, and wait for the items to be delivered to your doorsteps, or even to the recipients’ home! However, DO NOT make your shopping order last minute, or else the items won’t be shipped and delivered in time, or you might be charged extra for rushed shipping.

One good place to shop for Christmas gifts is of course at Amazon.com! :D Here are some popular gift ideas for Christmas from Amazon…

Ever since I came back to KL, I noticed my face and arms to become darker. I wonder if the sun in KL was more ferocious than the sun in Penang? :P

Actually I know why this happened.

First of all, I have stopped using my Olay White Radiance night cream because I am currently using Biotherm Aqua Gel for skin hydration. Guess I have to switch back to Olay White Radiance night cream very soon, so that damage can be repaired before it gets worse!

Secondly, I’m now staying in a landed house. The sun shin drops right at my front door in the morning. I can’t avoid going out because I have to hang up my washed clothes. And when we go out during daytime on the weekends, I have to stand under the sun to open the gate for hubby to drive his car out. In short, more exposure to the sun light now! Nothing that I can do about this until we have our automated gate installed. (Don’t know when!)

What I can do is to make sure every morning I apply my Nivea Body UV Protection Lotion before I go out of the house, even if it’s for a short while. The only problem with this Nivea Body UV Protection lotion is - the lotion has only UVA/UVB filters and Iso-Protectine. No SPF is indicated. The labels says it can prevent skin darkening and premature skin aging though.

Iso-Protectine

A nature-derived anti-oxidant that works dynamically inside your skin’s deeper layers, boosting your skin’s own protection system to help prevent premature skin aging and make it 3 times more resistant to the most damaging stress factors, such as pollution, smoke and UV rays.

I’m just wondering if this lotion will actually help since there is no SPF.

Today is the first day of the last month of 2008. Besides being busy with Christmas shopping, perhaps it is also time to start drafting another never-get-accomplished New Year resolution for 2009? Haha!

I don’t normally set New Year resolution. May be this year I should. Other than I want to lose 3 kg in weight and 2 inches on the waist (is it possible?!), I want to be able to drive.

Yes, I can’t drive, even though I’ve got a driver license. :P

I’ve Never Ever driven a car since I acquired my DL, which was like 12 years ago. Haha! I need to take a driving refresher course. I know it’s not like taking a CDL training to obtain a commercial driver’s license. It’s just a refresher course. I don’t even have to retake a driving test. But somehow I think driving is tough. I’m really bad at making turns and estimating distance, you know. :P

Hmm, may be I shouldn’t make this my New Year resolution after all. I don’t even have a car to drive, what’s the point of being able to drive? I will eventually un-learn what I learned again. Hahaha!

Okay, I may not have many posts put up in my healthy weight loss blog yet, but what the heck, here it is - Lose Weight And Get Fit! ;)

It’s a shame; I only have 4 posts up currently, haha! But from these very first posts you will know that my emphasis is all about getting to our ideal weight (not underweight!) and maintaining it through healthy lifestyles.

I won’t be promoting the use of weight loss drugs (e.g. Phentermine 37.5) there, for reasons that I’ve explained in one of my earlier posts. However, if I come across important information with regard to this topic (i.e. weight loss drugs, pills or supplements), I may share them so that you are aware of the advantages and disadvantages of a specific weight loss treatment before you make your decision.

In short, my hope is that those who want to lose weight, opt for healthy weight loss method, live a healthy life, look their best, and feel confident about their own body. :)

The traffic on the road seems to be busier than usual over the past week. Is it because of Christmas being near?

Just a word of caution - drive carefully during this festive season, okay? I had seen two cases of car accidents during the weekend as I was out for some shopping. One happened on Saturday and was reported on yesterday’s (Sunday) paper, where a car was hit by a truck that was on the other side of the road. The other one happened yesterday; as our car passed by, I saw the injured motorcyclist lying at the side of the road with blood on his chest!

Sometimes you just have to be extra careful when you’re on the road. You may be the best driver in the world, but you can’t stop others being the worst and come banging onto your vehicle. So, you would want to be super-duper careful to avoid becoming victims to those irresponsible motorists.

However, if an accident does happen and you think you have a case, then consider hiring motorcycle accident attorneys to help you pursue a claim for your accident injuries. You wouldn’t want to just let them go so easily, would you?

Still, the most important thing is to really stay alert on the road while driving. That will truly help cut down your chances of getting into any type of accidents.
