I suddenly thought of February. Yes, the month after January. ;P

There are several special occasion to celebrate in the month of February. Firstly, Valentine’s Day; secondly, my birthday! Then, closely followed by my niece’s birthday.

I’m not going to think what I will give hubby on the Valentine’s day, coz I probably will not give anything. But I will think of what I might want hubby to buy me for my birthday, haha! I know, that’s so unfair, huh?

And then, I also have to think of what birthday present to give to my cute niece who is going to be 2 years old. May be I should start browsing websites that offer gift ideas for boys and girls. I reckon boys and girls play with similar types of toys when they are toddlers, e.g. tricycles, bouncing balls, musical toys, simple puzzles, etc.

I have a few weeks to consider and do some window-shopping first before I decide. Of course, not forgetting to think about what gift ‘request’ I should extend to hubby, haha!

Different people face different types of problems. And to help them overcome those problems or manage some issues, there are various types of products and self-help programmes out there.

I’ve heard of asset management, anger management, property management, time management, stress management, and even cord management to help you get those messy cables and cords organized!

But I hope there would be some sort of multitasking management programme that could teach me how to get 1,001 things done in less than 2 weeks! :p

People always say “live life to the fullest!”, well, my life is already so full with deadlines and chores and appointments and personal goals that I don’t know how to make it fuller than it already is.

Is that good or bad?

Perhaps the first thing I need would be a sleep management programme–so that I could learn to go to bed on time and not staying up after midnight and surfing the Internet. Haha!

We must get it started this year, and get money rolling into our future!

Hubby and I have been cracking our heads but we haven’t gotten any good business ideas to start with. Perhaps this is one of our biggest and shared resolutions for this year (apart from our baby-making project). ^.^

Although I did attempt to sell clothes and simple handmade jewelry online before, the so-called business was started without much research and planning. So of course it didn’t really become a long-term money-making source. No matter what business it is - be it selling baby strollers, or vehicle parts, or medication carts, a business plan is essential.

Therefore, both of us have lots more of cracking to do in the coming weeks. May be we can do this while having our new year break at a beach hotel. ;)

Darn, there is so much to accomplish in the first quarter of 2012!

Thank goodness is Friday! TGIF!

Both hubby and I overslept 30 minutes this morning. That’s usual on a Friday morning. ;) Hubby’s fatigue probably has to do with his karate training yesterday evening, mine is definitely due to work stress and mental exhaustion!

Nowadays I really appreciate my sleep hours. And I can really sleep like a log. Used to complain that hubby’s snoring disrupt my sleep or keep me awake at night. Now, it’s the other way round. Haha!

But I don’t sleep well while traveling alone for work. Sleeping in a different environment, strange bed, no hubby by my side, I can toss and turn the whole night and usually end up with less than 5 hours of sleep. That’s why every time I come home from a working trip, my eye bags are as big and dark as Mr Panda’s eyes. :P

May be I should consider getting a DreamEssentials.com white noise maker, and bring it along with me whenever I travel to help me sleep better at night?

Just a one-day break from work, and I got a dozen of things to attend to when I’m back in the office! *faint*

Can’t imagine the number of emails I will have to read and reply and act on after a one-week break, which is about to happen soon. It will be a trip to PD with hubby, sister & her hubby, and of course my cutest niece.

Although with us four adults we could have probably rent a small apartment for the two-night stay, we ended up with our own individual rooms because sister only confirmed to join in the trip and made her reservation later. Perhaps in the future when we plan for a bigger family trip, we could look out for vacation houses for rent to save on accommodation.

After spending that 3 days (Sun - Tue) by the beach, I will get to rest for another two days at home due to the public holidays that follow. (I love this country!)

Then upon resuming work on Friday, I shall be doomed.

Instead of a rejuvenated body and stress-free soul, I foresee a 200% increase in stress level when I get back to work. Haha!

Whatever, when one has the opportunity to enjoy life, food, idleness, freedom, just enjoy! Shall worry about work later… much later.

Looks like I have to cancel my plans for this week.

Planned to check out whitening and anti-aging products from Estee Lauder after work today, since sales is going on in both Metro Jaya and Jaya Jusco.

Also planned to visit a new furniture shop near our house as I thought I saw some contemporary furniture and modern decor pieces when I passed by the shop last week.

Well, can’t do either of these because I’m sick! :(

It’s hard not to fall sick when there are a couple of people sick in the office, and your colleague who sits right opposite you has been coughing for a week.

I have been taking high doses of vitamin C for the past few days, but looks like it didn’t help. May be it’s because I have not gotten sufficient sleep recently, and my immune system was a bit low, and that made me vulnerable to those flu germs.

Right now, I have sore throat, an itchy nose (sneeze several times today), and a very mild fever. Wonder if I am able to get up to work tomorrow morning?

Getting back to work after a long weekend break is so darn difficult, especially the part on getting out of bed in the morning, haha!

Reading emails, picking up unfinished and new assignments, and, oh, attending a small birthday lunch in the office, hehe.

Now back at home, I have a deadline to rush for a freelance assignment. And this definitely won’t be the last that I am doing. Hmm, may be I just like to torture myself. :P

But it’s okay, I have coffee to keep me awake later. Jeez, late night sleep plus lots of coffee, not a good combination for the skin! No wonder I see more lines on my face recently! O_o

Friday night. Oh, no, it’s already Saturday morning, 1 am! :P

Went to the Coach outlet in Sunway Pyramid after work, saw a few designs that I like. Of course, their price tags are so way out of my budget! I believe I can find better price on the internet. Since my hair’s still wet after shower, so I took the opportunity to browse through some Coach handbags online. (Actually, I should be looking for baby gifts instead of immersing in my ‘passion’, haha, as it’s my niece’s birthday next Sunday! Need to buy a present for her.)

I indeed found a couple of blogs selling original Coach handbags with a lower price, average RM500 cheaper than buying from the outlet in shopping centres. But somehow the blogs don’t seem to have in stock those that I like.

Anyway, there’s no rush. I can take my time to consider carefully which one I like the best, then find the best offer from the internet before I open my wallet. :P

Wow, it’s the second day of a brand new year! Happy New Year!

My mood is getting better these few days, because I am always out of the house to escape from the noise pollution coming from next door. Can’t believe it, renovation is still going on after 3 weeks, although the drilling and banging is now happening at a much lesser extent now. But this morning, they started hammering at 8.30 am sharp! Hello, today is Saturday okay? And it’s the second day of a brand new year!

I think it will be another month before I can finally gain some peace and quiet. I sort of saw how it’s like inside the house when I passed by my neighbor’s house yesterday. Well, after 4 weeks, the house still looks totally BARE! The floor tiles and parkay were all dug out, wires hanging down from the ceiling, no grills, no lighting, everything is just in a mess, sort of. So what have they been doing for the past few weeks?

I mean, I really don’t understand why would one do this. Bought a new house and give it a total makeover? If you are so darn rich, get a bigger house, or build one from scratch. You can design it whatever way you want. You can have as many Dolan lighting chandeliers and Lorenzzo leather sofas as you want. You can have the floor in the whole house covered with top-quality marble. Just stay away from your neighbor and save her from insanity.

Hmm, I’m still not in too good a mood, I think.

Chandeliers from Dolan Designs - elegant and classically modern

I’ll try to be friendly to them when the move in - if they have one of these in their living or dinning area. :P
