Usually at this time of the year, most people will be discussing when to start their year end holiday, where to go for a Christmas vacation, or simply what to shop for Christmas.

For me, I can’t afford the money and time for this kind of ‘luxury’. :P While my dream holiday is to sail on one of those Mediterranean cruises, I’m afraid this has to remain a wishing for many years. *sigh*

So what shall I do before and during Christmas? Well, definitely I will be participating in Christmas sales shopping. Errr, just window shopping, I’m afraid. Hehe… But I will not miss the nice Christmas decorations and lightings in the shopping malls in KL this year! How tall can a Christmas tree be in Penang Gurney Plaza or QueensBay Mall? :P

Then, the highlight of my Christmas Day will be… attending a friend’s small wedding reception. Haha! What a way to spend Christmas.

Jeez, I kinda missed those romantic Christmas evenings with hubby before we got married… yeah, that’s right - ‘before we got married’. Once you’re married, things just don’t seem to be the same any more… Agree?

Went to MidValley Megamall for window shopping last weekend, and saw my dreamed Sony Vaio pink-colored laptop.

I remember when I first started blogging last year, I told myself I that I would make money from blogging and use the money to buy a chic-looking Sony Vaio laptop. The Sony Vaios series laptops are not cheap, especially the glossy pink model that I like costs more than 4k.

Well, after 12 months of blogging, I would say that I had made more than enough to buy a new laptop. HOWEVER… I had spent all the money on shopping – clothes, skincare products and cosmetics. :P

So that’s why I’m still hanging around with my old Compaq laptop, with its ‘E’ button missing from the keyboard, hahaha!

Most of my male high school mates I met last month during a friend’s wedding are crazy about golfing. Well, golf is indeed a popular ’socializing activity’ for men in their 30’s. Strangely (and luckily), my hubby is not a golf guy.

Even more strange, one of hubby’s guy friend actually has a very ‘niche’ hobby. He invited us to join him out this weekend to play … remote control helicopters!

Hmmm, is that cool, or is it just a big boy playing with his toys? :P

Anyway, hubby declined his invitation as this weekend we have to be at our new house to see the last bit of work get done in the kitchen. But even he wanted to go, I would rather stay back because I don’t want to be out under the hot sun looking at some remote control helicopters buzzing in the air! I really don’t see the fun of this kind of ‘elite’ activity.

And I don’t want to get myself tanned just because of that. Although I do have two bottles of Nivea whitening body lotion stand by for me all the time, this is not how I want to tan myself. The only place and time to get tanned is - next February in Langkawi Island!!

Yes, I’m only willing to sacrifice my skin fairness for an island vacation, haha!

Tonight will be my youngest sister’s first wedding dinner. I said ‘first’ because there will be another dinner tomorrow, held in Seremban. Not to mention that there is actually a third one in Penang. :P

The other wanted-to-lose-weight sister can’t wait to wear her cleavage-revealing purple dress tonight, haha! She is even hiring a friend, who is a professional make-up artist, to come and do her make-up and hair for her. Good for her, at least she is happy with what she has now, and no longer contemplating whether to buy Phentermine or not.

As for me, I will handle my own make-up, and won’t be revealing so much of cleavage tonight! Haha! Everything will be simple, from my hair, to my face, dress and shoes. I’m just playing a supportive role tonight, so I’d better stay off the spot light!

Gotta get ready for tonight’s event now! But first, help my mom to wash the front yard. :(

My sister finally managed to buy a dress to wear during my youngest sister’s wedding dinner – with some help from my mom, my youngest sister and myself, of course! :)

We accompanied her to One Utama this evening to be her ‘fashion advisor’. At last she found a lavender-colored V-neck dress to go with, perhaps, a pair of black leggings or panty hose, which she has to shop for tomorrow.

I had not been window shopping in One Utama for at least half a year, and I was really excited when I saw there are more boutiques and eateries running now. One will never get bored with this place even if it’s just window shopping and eating! Haha!

I sounded like a shallow woman, huh? It’s as if my life is all about shopping and ‘beautifying’ myself, haha! Well, I’m just an ordinary woman. I do what most women like to do. You can talk to me about fashion trend, cosmetics and gossips, but don’t ask me what’s the difference between an unlocked phone and a locked cell phone because I won’t know. :P

But this woman can’t afford to buy Derma Genesis products because she just saw the price in Watson – day cream costs RM55, night cream RM59, and essence RM79!! Eeeeeks!

Hubby’s friend came to our new house last Sunday to help us drill holes for curtain rails because he has all the required tools.

When he saw the number of unpacked boxes we have, he couldn’t believe that we managed to have so many things moved from Penang to KL in one day. Well, thanks again to the professional moving company we hired!

Transportation and logistic jobs today are becoming more professional and highly in demand. You can even get samples of logistics resumes online to help you submit your job application for logistic jobs! Looks like I don’t have to worry about not being able to get a job anymore, huh? But I think I’m too slow a worker to be accepted into their ‘fast-moving’ industry, haha!
