Office gossiping is one of the entertainment forms at work, such as passing secret names behind someone’s back and using anonyms. :P

Two secret ‘codes’ that we have been using recently are ‘medical cart‘ and ‘Mary Brown’. It’s not that the office need to get a medical cart or sorts. Neither do we plan to go for Mary Brown’s fried chicken.

We are just using these terms because their initials are representing persons in the office (MC & MB); MC being the name initials of a person, and MB represents what we call as mini boss (MB). So we are using these secret names when we want to talk about the particular person but are afraid that she might suddenly barge into the room. At least they won’t have a clue even if they caught us talking about medical cart or Mary Brown. Haha!

We’re just a bunch of bad girls! And may be that’s how office politics usually get started. :P

I have started to play PC games again. It’s not because I have a lot of free time. Quite the contrary, I’m very busy both at work and after work (freelancing stuffs). The more I’m stressed, the more I want to entertain myself with pc games.

Of course, I’m not a heavy duty player. I’m just a fan of hidden object games, so my nice little netbook can still cope with it. But if you are a serious PC game aficionado, then you need custom built gaming PC or gaming laptops, such as cyberpowerpc, because their system is specially designed to cater to long hours of playing with extra performance and good thermal control.

Equipped with such efficient system, such gaming pcs naturally carry more expensive price tags. But you can still get them at cheaper price if you know where to look for cyberpowerpc coupons. Of course, you should also look for a merchant who provide good post-purchase customer service, so that you can get all the help needed should anything is wrong with your newly bought gaming PC.

But no matter how much you like to play PC games, please do remember to take a break every 30 or 45 minutes or so. To give your eyes some rest, and to get yourself out of the chair for at least some minimal physical activity.  You know what are the consequences if you stick to the chair for too long. ;)

My friend’s wedding dinner falls on this Saturday, and I have no dress to wear to the dinner!

Hubby asked why I can’t just wear one of my not-so-old dresses. Well, my waistline has expanded, that’s why! I don’t want to wear something that is going to make people mistaken me as pregnant. Duh!

Planned to go to Robinson tomorrow, but hubby just found out that he has to go to PD for meeting tomorrow. I have no problem going to the shopping mall myself after work, but getting back home is a problem. I think I can only do a last minute shopping this Friday. Double-duh!

That makes me realize how important it is to maintain my waistline - so that I don’t have to keep getting new clothes after every few months. :P Oh well, I suppose that is better than compromising my health by relying on weight loss products that are not suitable for me.

But don’t ever think that only girls take supplements for the sake of looking good, some guys who want to enhance their sexual desire and ability (and to show their manliness) would also opt to use male enhancement supplements. Again, guys or girls, so long you are taking supplements, natural or synthetic, beware of safety issues. Even if you have heard how good Extenze is, you need to first realize any present side effects of extenze before you start using it.

But I have no guts to try supplements other than the usual vitamins and minerals, so I would rather stick to an exercise routine to shed the extra pounds around my belly. Okay, it’s now time for my workout session. Elliptical machine, here I come!

Precious weekend is passing by in just a blink. Tomorrow is a working day again, and as usual, tonight is our ironing night.

Tomorrow I must wake up on time, no snoozing allowed, as hubby has a morning appointment to attend. He has to help a person on how to go about his auto insurance claim. You see, not every motorist knows how to report a claim after an accident happened.

But you don’t have to worry too much if you don’t know anything about handling auto insurance claim. Your insurance agent will be able to help you out because he/she should be knowledgeable in the necessary procedures.

Oh well, if I need to wake up on time tomorrow, I need to go to bed early tonight. Computer games, out!

Had a lunch appointment today. Initially planned to wear my gray-colored 3-quarter pants, but sadly, I had to change into another pair of jeans, as the waist of the pants has become so tight! :(

Jeez, I just bought that pair of pants 4 months ago. Time flies, and how body changes.

I thought I have cut down of the amount of carbo and fat I consumed in the past few days. But it looks like my body is super efficient in absorbing just about anything that goes into my body. Short workouts didn’t help. Looks like I need to use the elliptical machine to the max!

No wonder many people who wanted to lose weight succumbed to the use of diet pills. It makes losing weight easier. But I’m not tempted to take diet pills myself. If you are opt to use weight loss pills to assist in your weight losing endeavor, do make sure you are taking fda approved diet pills, and not just anything that claims to be effective.

So, for tonight’s dinner, I’m going to eat rice in half my usual amount, eat early, and then work out on the machine for at least 30 minutes. Thanks to my 3-quarter pants, for reminding me again that I need to watch my figure. Ha!

Jeez, my hair smells. I was in a cafe just now and the smell of food is all over my hair now. Oh well, might as well exercise and get sweaty later, since I need to wash my hair.

I have been washing hair on alternate days, because I fear that washing my hair too frequently will make my hair loss problem worse. It’s really eerie to see lots of hair on the floor every time I take my shower.

But may be I should wash my hair every day after all, because the hair stylist I went to last month told me that oily scalp is one of the reasons that cause hair loss, because the oil will cause the hair follicle to clog, and cause the root of the hair to weaken.

So one of the ways to prevent hair loss is to ensure that the scalp is clean and not oily. To do that, I have to wash hair every day. And when I tried to wash my hair consecutively for 3 days, I noticed that the amount of hair on the floor got lesser. I didn’t stick to washing hair every day because sometimes I’m just too tired, or sometimes the water is too chilly. :P

But I think I should start washing my hair daily. This is the only way to prevent the condition from progressing into a serious hair loss problem.

Do you have trouble sleeping at night? Are you worried that you might be suffering from insomnia?

Well, before you get overly worried unnecessarily, you can either go and see your doctor or take a look at your lifestyle.

Live life like there’s no tomorrow, you’ll go to bed without regrets, and finally get a good night sleep.

What a bliss, when I could sleep like a log through the whole night and woke up naturally this morning… at 11 am! 10 hours of sleep, what an indulge! ;)

Really, being able to wake up and see the sun bright and shiny gives me a cheerful start of the day, so that I’m in a good mood all day long, even though I started to get sleepy in the late afternoon. Haha!

Wonder if you have had experience this: taking a nap in the late afternoon, while the day is still bright, then wake up from your nap and find that it’s already dark outside, and in a very depressed kind of state? That’s how I will feel if I fall asleep when it is bright then to wake up in the dark. It’s our biological clock issue. We are made to wake up in bright light, not darkness. :P

Can’t imagine in countries with winter where people wake up to a dark morning, how they would feel when they first get up from bed. No wonder they said winter can be depressing, not only because of the low temperature, but also lesser sunlight during the day. But something can be done.

One can use a sunrise simulator alarm clock, such as the Bio-Brite sunrise clock. You can set the clock to slowly lit up before it rings and startles you out of your dream. So you feel like you’re really waking up in the morning and not at night. Your biological clock will accept it better. You feel more cheerful and alert, instead of depressed and gloomy.

What a relief, I don’t have to go to the office tomorrow!

Tomorrow’s a public holiday, Malaysia Day that is. But last week boss said that we need to meet up at the office to discuss on a draft for an upcoming guidebook for parents-to-be. Luckily, we managed to get the discussion done this afternoon and I will get to wake up late tomorrow.

But that doesn’t mean I’m totally free from work. In fact, I am bringing home with me a whole stack of newspaper cuttings, magazines, papers and more papers for me to refer to, as I need to update the copy based on the comments gathered this afternoon. If there was a VeloBind binding machine in the office, I would have bound all those papers together for easy carry. Now, I have dumped all of them into a plastic bag, and I so looked like an unorganized and clumsy OL. Haha!

Oh well, at least I get to stay at home tomorrow. I can work in my pajamas, take a break every 30 minutes, work and watch TV at the same time, take a nap, wake up and work again. Just whichever way I want.

Jeez, I missed working from home!
