Have you been doing your Christmas shopping for your kids or nephews and nieces, but could not decide what’s the best Christmas gift to buy for them? You have bought them toys and games every Christmas, this year you thought you want to give something unique yet affordable?

How about personalized books for children? Personalized children’s books are very common today. They are inexpensive, they tell simple and engaging stories (at least to the kids), and you can actually have the child’s name appear in the story!

If your child’s name is ‘Coby’, then ‘Coby’ appears throughout the book as he is now inside the story!

I came across a website that sells personalized children’s books online, the books are really cute! They also have personalized coloring books and personalized journal books for children. I think books always make a wonderful Christmas gift for both and children.

So, if you are still undecided on what unique Christmas gifts to get for your little ones, why not pay a visit to www.frecklebox.com and check out their personalized books for children? :)

Usually at this time of the year, most people will be discussing when to start their year end holiday, where to go for a Christmas vacation, or simply what to shop for Christmas.

For me, I can’t afford the money and time for this kind of ‘luxury’. :P While my dream holiday is to sail on one of those Mediterranean cruises, I’m afraid this has to remain a wishing for many years. *sigh*

So what shall I do before and during Christmas? Well, definitely I will be participating in Christmas sales shopping. Errr, just window shopping, I’m afraid. Hehe… But I will not miss the nice Christmas decorations and lightings in the shopping malls in KL this year! How tall can a Christmas tree be in Penang Gurney Plaza or QueensBay Mall? :P

Then, the highlight of my Christmas Day will be… attending a friend’s small wedding reception. Haha! What a way to spend Christmas.

Jeez, I kinda missed those romantic Christmas evenings with hubby before we got married… yeah, that’s right - ‘before we got married’. Once you’re married, things just don’t seem to be the same any more… Agree?

Santa Claus is coming to town…. next month! Another one month plus to Christmas. It’s going to be jingle time again! :)

Do you already have a list of gift ideas for Christmas? I know it’s a pretty hard time for everyone now, you know, with the recession. However, I’m sure the current situation will not dampen the Christmas spirit. Who said Christmas presents must be expensive?

Say, Christmas gifts for him may not necessarily be a luxury men’s watch. It can be a Christmas gift basket carrying his favorite cookies baked by you! Or a self-printed voucher for him to redeem a full-body massage with his personal masseuse - that is you! (But please, don’t ever consider giving him tape drives even if he needs it, because that is so unromantic! :P)

And yes, you can come up with a variety of self-made Christmas gift baskets for other members of your family. Besides cookies, you could put in knitting wools for mom if she knits, a couple of bottles of supplements for dad if he needs an extra dose of vitamins and minerals, a beautiful scarf bought from the craft fair for your sister… just get creative! :D

So, let your brain works and come up with a list of affordable yet unique gift ideas for Christmas for your loved ones!

“One little, two little, three little Indians…”

Oops, wrong one. Should be “One little, two little, three little pimples, four little, five little, six little pimples… and more, more pimples!!”

*sigh*

Hate to see myself in the mirror. My acne problem has still not resolved since I last mentioned about it here. They came, disappeared, and came again!

I know I should apply my Body Shop Tea Tree Oil for blemish, but it is back in my parents in law’s place while I’m now staying with my mom. I don’t have any acne clearing product with me at the moment, all I can do is to keep my face clean all the time, blot away the oil if it gets excessive, avoid make-up, and refrain my hands from touching my face!

Oops, I almost forgot about one thing: I need to make a hotel reservation for our stay in Langkawi Island the coming February.

After surfing the web for reviews on hotels and resorts, we more or less decided to go for the Langkasuka Resort. My sister’s friend recommended this resort; it has a beach of its own, it’s located near to the airport, its rates are affordable, and the rooms are quite nice.

There will be nine of us in total, but we won’t need a place as complete as the las vegas suites, you know, those that comes with a kitchen and a living room, which are pretty much like an apartment. As long as the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, their service is efficient and friendly, we will be pretty much ensured of a wonderful stay there.

Heard and read reviews that their breakfast is slightly below standard though, we can only expect some common local foods and not a feast of international cuisines. Anyway, we are not there to enjoy breakfast, right? We can always hunt around for good food all over the island since we will be renting cars and driving on our own.

Jeez, better call up their room reservation service now…

Follow Me Green Tea Revitalizer Shampoo

Follow Me Green Tea Revitalizer Shampoo
Loaded with Wheat Protein and Grape Seed extracts to provide maximum moisture, hydration, replenishment and revitalization for dry, damaged, chemically processed hair. Mild fragrant.

I’m putting this photo of Follow Me Green Tea Revitalizer Shampoo here is because - this is the first time I felt that Follow Me shampoo is good! ;P

Before this, I had never tried any shampoo from Follow Me. My preferred brands have always been Pantene, Sunsilk and Clear, simply because my hair don’t get tangled up after washing with their shampoos. Besides them, I didn’t really have confidence in other brands of shampoos.

Recently, however, as I ran out of hair shampoo while staying at my mom’s, I had no choice but to use whatever I could find in the bathroom. And I was surprised by how my hair turned out soft after washing with Follow Me Green Tea Revitalizer Shampoo! My hair was also easy to manage and comb the next morning even though I didn’t comb it right after washing the night before. :D

I’m not the only person amazed by this Green Tea shampoo that also contains wheat protein and grape seed extracts, even my sister (the one who just got married) agreed to my ‘testimonial’. Well, this doesn’t happen very often, as she is one fussy person who is very selective on all her personal care items. :P

However, my mom didn’t feel the same. She said her head itched after using the shampoo. Haha!

I think I will give this shampoo another few try since I’m staying at my mom’s these few days. If it continues to treat my hair nice, I might just replace my current shampoo brand with Follow Me Green Tea Revitalizer Shampoo.
