Oh dear, the stress of packing up and lack of sleep is taking a toll on my skin. I can see that some zits are going to erupt on my cheeks very soon! :(

No time for exfoliation, no time for mask. Single cleanse, tone, moisturize - that’s all. Every thing has to be fast, quick and done in a jiffy! I felt so sorry for my skin. *sob*

Anyway, I guess every thing will fall back in place after I’ve moved back and settled down. I hope whatever acne that pops up later will resolve by itself, and that I need not have to rely on any acne cures (although there are some very good ones nowadays).

I think I should get back to more packing up (and stress) now. Have to get ready for a farewell dinner with friends, too. ;)

Jeez, the first thing I’m gonna do after I’ve settled down back in KL is to make an appointment for a facial! I definitely need some rejuvenation after all this stressful packing up. :P

I wonder what the workers from the moving company will think when they see the tons of stuffs we need them to move. I’m sure they will wonder, “How the heck did these TWO people ended up with so many things in an apartment?!”

One box is not even enough to accommodate all my personal vanity supplies, I tell you. Luckily we don’t have a cat or a dog, otherwise we might also have loads of cat supplies or dog food to be transported, too. :P

Oh dear, there is still so much to be packed. Looks like we have to stay up late tonight. There goes my beauty sleep. :(

We are moving back to KL this weekend, but not into our new house yet.

Firstly, the area is new and most tenants have not moved in. We don’t want to live in a ‘dead’ town! :P

Secondly, the house is not ready. When we reach KL this weekend, the house will – hopefully - have grills, lights and fans installed (work in progress currently). Our stuffs will be locked up in the house, while we will stay with my parents in law, or sometimes my parents (house-hopping, I call it).

The next thing we need to do is to look around for furniture. Also, not to forget about kitchen cabinets and bedroom wardrobes. We have actually done a bit of survey on that a couple of weeks ago, but believe me, getting cabinet and wardrobe installation quotes is not as easy and straight-forward as getting mortgage quotes (although they cost much cheaper than the house)!

There are still a lot to do with the new house before we can move in, so I guess we have to wait a little while before we can start living in our new home sweet home.

Every woman deserves a pair of beautiful shoes. Agree? No?

May be I should say – Every woman deserves MORE than a pair of beautiful AND comfortable footwear. That sounds more like it, huh? ;)

If you agree to that, then you should check out the large collection of shoes and sandals from Beautifeel, which believe that modern women footwear should be a combination of comfort and beauty, health and aesthetics, natural feel and advanced design, quality materials and craftsmanship. Their shoes are made from high-quality soft calf leathers, latex soles and leather insoles to help take care of your feet.

Good news – my days on this island is ending soon!
Bad news – I only have 2 weeks to get packed and move!

Moving house is truly a daunting task. Imagine, hubby and I are moving for the third time in 4 years! :P

There is a lot to plan and pack before we leave. We are considering to sell off some of our furniture because we don’t want to use them in our new home. Old issues of fashion and beauty magazines of mine have to go somewhere, probably some recycle center (hubby has been nagging me on this!). I’m quite reluctant to do this though. :P

Next, we have to phase out most of our clothes, most likely donating them to, errr, recycle center again? We must get rid at least half of them, otherwise we won’t be able to pack all the clothes into our suitcases (unless we have the full set of Delsey luggages, hehe). The last time we moved, we just stuffed all our clothes into boxes! That’s pretty easy, huh? But I figure that would dirty the clothes and may cause mold to grow later.

Jeez, I feel so exhausted already by merely thinking of the packing chores that await me!

I love all sorts of cool and fashionable gadgets. But ‘love’ is one thing, whether I can afford to own is another matter altogether.

Oh well, at least I own the basic gadgets – a laptop, mobile phone and an MP3 player. While I am very happy with my 3-year old COMPAQ laptop and 2-month old SE mobile phone, I don’t like my 1-year old SONY MP3 recorder-player, which is bulky and not cool at all. :P

Its design is a loser (that’s why I’m not showing a photo of my MP3 player here) when compared with these sleek MP3 players (or even MP4!):

(Left) Mach Speed 1GB Onyx MP4 with recorder; (Right) Microsoft Zune 4GB

(Left) Sandisk Sansa Fuse MP3 4GB; (Right) Creative Zen Stone Plus 2GB

I really like the pink Microsoft Zune model, but its price scares me away – USD129.99! *Sigh* When it comes to reality check, vanity always has to give in…
