I’ve made the decision. If there are good offers and deals on beauty products during this Jusco Sale, I’m gonna get myself some new stuff to try.

Currently what I’ve got in my mind are several products from the Biotherm Line Peel series.

Oh dear, I need to spring clean my dressing table. It’s in a total mess again. Bottles of skincare products and cosmetics have conquered every possible space of the table over the months. Errr, there may be more joining in this weekend, hehe.

Well, there is a SALE going on at Jusco Store currently, until 4 April. I hope the cosmetic counters are offering good promotions, like purchase up to a certain amount and get a free 5-piece or 6-piece gift set. That’s one way to get my hands on more products from a particular brand, experiment with them, and decide if I want to make them a permanent member of my dressing table, haha!

On the other hand, I also think that skincare and cosmetic stuffs are meant to be used and not kept for pleasure. They are not like data in my computer – when I don’t need them I can save them into a usb flash drive, and retrieve them when I need to use them. I probably won’t be able to finish the bottles before the expiry dates if I have too many of them.

Hmmm, may be I should reconsider my shopping intention then.

Should I, should I not?

I don’t know much about golf. Although I’ve been to a driving range a few times, too bad it didn’t ignite my interest in this sport. And watching golf tournament on TV puts me to sleep. Actually, I won’t even switch to the channel if it’s showing a golf game!

I’m sure at least one or two of the people you know are golf enthusiasts, including your very own other significant half. Shopping is always in the must-do list whenever one goes for a holiday. Regardless of where you go, whether it’s a budget holiday or one of those luxury vacations, you just simply have to buy something for yourself or family and friends back home, right?

If you are in Paris, then there is one shopping heaven that you must not miss – La Vallee Village.

This is a place where top brand names offer their previous collections at a minimum discount of 33%! Sometimes it’s even more! Okay, the shopping village is not located somewhere in the heart of Paris though. But if you are on your way to Disneyland Paris, you’re a lucky gal – the village is just seated next to it! Disneyland plus shopping, isn’t it wonderful?

I opened up a copy of the latest women’s magazine and was amazed to see a whole plethora of skin whitening products on the market today. Even Dior is having a commercial for its latest DiorSnow Sublissime range on TV now. We probably have had received many party invitations and been to many of them - birthday parties, wedding parties, engagement parties, baby shower parties, etc. But I doubt we will ever get something special like the Kentucky Derby Party Invitations here.

A Kentucky Derby party is not any ordinary party. Kentucky Derby itself is a annual Grade I stakes race held in Louisville, Kentucky since 1875. This event takes place on the first Saturday of May, capping a 2-week long Kentucky Derby festival. All the people of Louisville will take this opportunity to throw parties as a way to celebrate the more than one-century-old tradition.

And if you were invited to one of these parties, there’s one thing that you MUST wear to those parties - a big Kentucky Derby hat! You know, hats elaborated with big flowers, feathers, ribbons and laces? Look at some of these hats from Lady Diane, aren’t they sweet and elegant? These are hats that can be worn to garden parties, too.

Despite knowing that I will never have the chance to attend a Kentucky Derby party or something like it (who am I to be invited to such occasions, anyway), I still wish that someday I could own one of these lovely hats, even if it means keeping the hat in my wardrobe and not wearing it, like for the rest of my life. (Vanity, vanity, vanity….)

While an occasional bottle of beer or a glass of wine during the weekends or happy occasions doesn’t harm, women who abuse alcohol, or even occasionally drink excessively, are at risk of greater health damage than men, despite they drink less or for a shorter period of time.

So, if you recognize yourself having alcohol addiction problems and don’t want the above to happen to you, seek help now. Find yourself an alcohol rehab center AND find your way out of alcohol addiction and towards a healthy life.

Jeez, how I wished I could have a full body massage, NOW! My neck and shoulders and back are sore, as I’ve been constantly hunching over my laptop working on assignments for the past few days.

May be I will just go to this traditional massage center nearby my place this weekend. It’s price is considered affordable - go in the morning it costs only RM40! While hubby doesn’t think they did a good job on him, I felt quite satisfied with the pressure and technique they used the last time I went.

Besides body massage, the center also offers foot reflexology. I love body massage, but I will NEVER try foot reflexology! Saw too many painful faces when their foot were being pressed and pushed.:P

But if you like foot reflexology or any kind of foot treatment, how about a…. fish spa? Yes, you get Dr Fish, AKA Garra Rufa, to nibble away scaly and dead skin on your feet (they are smart fishes, they don’t eat the healthy skin), leaving your feet silky smooth once more. It seems that Dr Fish also help in easing the symptoms of skin conditions, such as psoriasis and eczema.

Where is this fish spa? At Kenko Reflexology & Fish Spa @ Level 5, Pavillion, KL. Apparently, this is the first fish spa in the world! I got to know about this place coz I saw it on TV just now, hehe.

So, while foot reflexology is a big no-no for me, I definitely will give the fish spa a try when I’m back in KL. Well, it looked really fun and ticklish…

I have to confess: I’m getting increasingly obsessed with cosmetics, especially eye colors.

Not that I use them every day, or every time I go out. I just simply like to collect eye shadows, and feel a sense of security to know that whenever I need THAT color for my eyes, it will be there, hehe.

If I remember correctly, I bought two ‘brandless’ eye palettes with lots of color combinations may be about 3 months ago. They were really cheap – RM9.90, buy one free one! So I don’t have to worry even if I don’t ever use it.

And yesterday, this eye shadow addict had bought yet another one to add to her collection, hehe. It’s a Za’s 3-color Eyes Vibrante series. I bought it because it’s small in size and can be put into my handbag. With this, my handbag will always be equipped with a complete set of make-up whenever I’m on the go – face compact powder, blusher, eye shadow and lip gloss.

Well, I hope that my obsession with cosmetics won’t aggravate further, otherwise I would be just like one of those drug-dependence users who need to get some form of rehab in drug treatment centers, but I would be in a make-up addict treatment center (if there is such a place!), of course.

Hmm, you know what, M.A.C.’s Fafi Eyes make a good eye shadow collection, too…
